Interest will be compounded daily and credited to your account quarterly. We use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on your account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day. Interest begins to accrue no later than the business day we receive credit for the deposit of noncash items.

About Children's Online Privacy

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) was passed to give parents increased control over information that is collected from their children online and how such information is used. The law applies to websites and services directed to, and which knowingly collect information from, children under the age of 13. Bank of Hiawassee's Web sites and online services are not directed to children under the age of 13, nor is information knowingly collected from them. • Transfers to another account owned by the depositor or to a third party via preauthorized or automatic transfer or telephone agreement are limited to six per month or statement period of at least 4 weeks.
• No more than three transfers may be made by check, draft, point of sale, debit card, voice response unit, telephone banking, internet banking, bill pay or similar order made by the depositor and payable to third parties.*
• An unlimited number of transfers are permitted for certain circumstances.
• Statements are sent each month you have an electronic fund transfer transaction, otherwise at least quarterly.
